Engage is dedicated to helping parents make their parenting experience both effective and enjoyable. We also realize that accomplishing that goal and dealing with the inherent challenges of raising children, sometimes requires a shift in perspective, a bit of guidance and some information about developmental issues.
The Engage approach looks not just at the development of the whole-child, but at the development of the whole human-being, recognizing that the early experiences are the foundation for an emotionally healthy lifetime experience. Engage - Parent Education begins with a look at the stages of development and their corresponding behaviors and moves on to effective communication, natural consequences, differences in parenting styles, and peer relationships.
Engage - Parent Coaching deals with specific struggles within families; including issues related to appropriate expectations, boundaries and limit-setting, sleep struggles, food struggles, tantrums, aggressive behavior, discipline, tattling, sibling rivalry, potty-training/bedwetting, peer relationships, grades, homework and many others.
